1989 CRX Si - 101,500miles
$12,999

This is another beautiful example of a California sourced, factory stock, late model 2nd gen CRX Si.  The car spent the vast majority of it's life in the hands of a female owner, who drove the car for most of it's life.

History

The car comes with a nearly full dossier of documents and service records from the day it was purchased until the present time!

Specifically, the original buyer's invoice from Stanford Honda (Stanford, California) dated August 18, 1989 in the amount of $14,311(!!) plus the original window sticker and a "market condition" and dealer extra's window sticker detailing all the extra's that the dealer was charging the poor buyer!

From that point on, it appears that nearly every time the car was brought back in to the dealer, whether for a scheduled service or a factory recall (seatbelts), the documentation of the work has been saved in the vehicle's archives.

This includes the single incident that I can find of the vehicle being involved in any accident altercation, which as it appears, happened when the car was parked at a shopping mall and another driver lightly sideswiped the car, requiring replacement of the front fender and replacement of the outer door skin and molding.  I had no idea the car was ever damaged at all until I saw this bodyshop repair order and police report of the incident, as close examination reveals nothing of the sort on the car. The repair was obviously done to "factory spec" quality, and furthermore I do not believe there was any record of this on the car's Autocheck report as it did not happen on the road and the car wasn't even being driven at the time.

Major service records also include one replacement of the clutch, which was done at 63,000 miles.  I do not see any record of timing belt replacement , however I have reason to believe it was done at least once, because there is a service note from the dealer for the owner to take care of it, and obviously this owner went overboard to do everything necessary to keep the car in impeccable condition.
